Don't You Know There's a Big Ole Balloon Festival Going On???

We finally made it to the Plano Balloon Festival this year. Blake tried to "drive through" last year, but the cops don't really allow that. We kind of got stopped and Blake got a good "talking to". But this year, with kids, Aunt Lori, and Meme in tow we made it to the balloon festival! It was a sight to see. I think the adults were into it even more than the kids! We will have to put this one down on the list of family traditions!

Mommy needs a vacation!

Blake surprised me with a vacation to Playa del Carmen, Mexico. We were there for 5 days and had a blast. What a sweet husband I have!!!

Birthdays and milestones

It's official, I have a two year old, and she is definitely starting to act like she is 2! Brinley is talking in complete sentences now! Her vocabulary is booming. The other day she told Blake " Mommy is boss!" That is my girl. They learn so young! Brayden is my joy. He is a happy boy all the time. He is rolling over finally and two days later could sit up. He sits up very well now on his own and can play with toys without toppling over. He still doesn't have any teeth but I am expecting a couple to pop through any day now. Until then I will enjoy that big gummy smile! Blake is still in Austin, but she be home in a couple weeks. Whew! We are almost there!

Summer Fun!

We are loving summer! Brinley could stay outside all day! She is getting so smart, her vocabulary is getting bigger everyday and she is even talking in short sentences now! Brinley's favorite summer things are going outside, playing with her sand and water table, and playing in her kiddie pool! Mommy's favorite things are Brinley's pigtails, and long naps after playing outside!
